Torin William (Billy) was born today. He arrived by repeat C-section and his birth (like this pregnancy) was blissfully unremarkable. I didn't have to have general anesthesia, so I was awake for the surgery, which lasted 36 minutes from start to finish. I'm now sitting in bed with a warm bundle in my lap, contemplating sleep and yet not wanting to put Billy down. He's been snuggled up to me for over three hours. I'm so glad to have a happy, healthy family, two precious little boys, and a wonderful, sweet husband to share this life with. It has been a perfect day.
